Inner Fireworks

I have always been the quiet type in class but I’m actually far from shy. I just have my own way of expressing my thoughts and ideas and that is in the form of art and tinkering. I love doing school projects whether it's in the form of a painting, a diorama, paper crafts, or some weird contraption I thought of while my teacher was discussing in class. I remember my classmates shouting "Fireworks!" when I entered the classroom with this big, odd-looking box and I can't help but grin since I know at the back of my head that I'm about to blow their minds.

Seeing the spark of wonder in people's faces whenever I show them what I have created gives me the joy of achievement because I know for a fact that I was able to communicate a story even without words. Being part of the Bonifacio Art Foundation, Inc. (BAFI), an organization promoting science and art, has given me the opportunity to continue creating "sparks" for people through our various exhibits and projects. Using my art and my engineering background and the out-of-the-box ideas of the BAFI team, I was able to create exhibits for The Mind Museum that gave our guests fun and new ways to experience and learn science.

We can’t have you in the museum yet but we have never stopped creating ways to bring science and art closer to you. You can check out the awesome original items we've specially crafted for you like our very own augmented reality book, What is Nature? Everything Is! or our Science Wonder Kits: The Earth Below & The Sky Above where you can do fun experiments and activities at home that will surely ignite that spark of wonder (maybe even fireworks) in you!
